Budget Travel by Bus/Sea, Nadi to Nagigia Island Resort (as at June 2007)
For the budget traveller, you can get the Express bus service from Nadi to Suva for only F$14 (approx. US$8) one way. There is now a weekly freight ship from Suva to Kadavu.

The "Sinuwasa" ship departs Suva at about 10pm each Tuesday night, arriving about 6am at Vunisea Wharf, Kadavu, where our boat, picking up the resort freight will then bring you to Nagigia Island for US$26 one way. The return "Sinuwasa" voyage departs weekly on Wednesday at about 8am, arriving Suva about 8pm.

This is an overnight ship service with 3 price levels.
- A great price of only F$45 (approx US$26) one way including your surfboard bag but with no sleeping accommodation, so not very comfortable.
- Dormitory sleeping accommodation (6 single bunks in a room) for only F$55 (approx US$32) per person one way.
- An air conditioned lounge area with comfortable seatees with two dormitory rooms attached, each with 3 single bunks. F$65 (approx US$37) per person one way.

King Kong Dormitory
One large Dormitory right on the water where you can jump from the deck into the water at high tide and enjoy great views of Nabukelevu Mountain. We have another dormitory area with garden view. Each person has their own single bed. No bunks.
This Fiji surf resort on Nagigia Island is one of the most beautiful islands you will ever visit with great surf. This is the view from King Kong Dormitory where Renee is leaping from the deck into the water. Look at the beautiful backdrop of the nearby island of Kadavu.

Dormitory inside dimensions are 23 ft by 23 ft plus a large deck of 32 ft by 8ft with an overhang over the water.
