We offer a free "Getting Started" surfing lesson for those who have not surfed before ät Beginner Daku as a fun introduction to surfing.


"Beginner Daku", shown above, works a couple hours either side of high tide and is an ideal area for the less experienced surfer. Very soft small break most days. The ride is a quick 10 metre peeler, then it fades back and for another 70 metres. Trade wind is onshore so the best time is early morning before the wind gets up. However, even when the wind is onshore, this is still a fun break, fun for long boards and loose short boards.
